Zutter Bind It All is turning pink!!!!! Summer CHA 2008

Well, Zutter has not come out with a new product, unfortunately! However, they have started a new color line on their old products. with some minor improvements to the overall product. Not that there was anything wrong with the aqua blue bind it all, but I do love the pink version. I just wonder how many people will sell their old aqua Zutter products and purchase new pink ones? Not me, I am too frugal (aka cheap) I might add that the new pink line is a bit more pricey too! Coming in September. For more info on Zutter check my store for preorders (great price) at www.michellesscrap.com or email me at CASDANBEN@aol.com.

NEW releases from Basic Grey

Basic Grey was the one. They were the company that hooked me and reeled me in to scrapbooking for good. I remember when I first saw their papers, it was the Sublime line that I loved at that moment, and it has been almost every line since then. They are releasing three new lines next month and the other two lines in October. At this point I am not even sure which one is my favorite. Of course I have already placed my order, I cannot help myself. I will be glad to share with everyone, if you are interested in special pre order pricing just email me or leave me a message her and I will get back with you. I hope to get them listed in my webstore soon. Here they are......

This is Urban Prairie *not coming out till October

This one is Ambrosia and is being released next month.

This one is Eva

This one is Granola and is being released in October

This one is called Offbeat

So which is your favorite?????

I have been tagged

Camille has tagged me and I am suppose to write 8 random facts about myself. (YIKES!)

1. I love to garden, next to scrapbooking it is my favorite hobby.
2. If I could have a vacation home it would be in either Gatlinburg in the mountains or at Myrtle Beach.
3. I didn't attend college till I was 27 and got my degree when I was 31. I was a single mom at the time and worked and went to school.
4. Someday I would like to visit Hawaii.
5. If I could meet any celebrity it would be Oprah!
6. Sometimes I am too blunt, well most of the time. I am working on sugar-coating the truth a bit.
7. I have always loved watching my kids play baseball/softball. And have coached them at several different ages.
8. I enjoy tracing my roots, and have traced my mothers paternal line back to the 1500's.

I dont think I know of eight blogs to tag! Melissa, Kristen, Andrea, Sheryl, Sandy?? Maybe I will think of another.

THE RULES1) each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.2) people who are tagged need to write a post on their own blog (about their eight things) and post these rules.3) at the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.4) don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

My Latest Layout

I told you I liked pink and orange. These papers are from MME.

Color Combinations-A little Contest

I am getting ready to move my scrapbook room into a tiny bedroom upstairs, with a wonderful view! We have to pack up several large bins of toys and find a home for them first, I am embarrassed by how messy this toy room was, so this has been an ongoing job.
I am trying to decide what color I would like to paint it. I have had several color combinations racing around in my head. It seems I have a different favorite every week. I love bright colors, but the room is only about 8x12 and am afraid that might be to overpowering. Anyone know of any cute patterns to paint on the walls of a smaller room, to make it feel bigger? I love the colors pink and orange together but I think that would be too much for this room, and I guess I should face the fact that I am not a little girl, and should try a more "mature" color scheme. I would love to hear some ideas, even better I would love to see some pictures of scrapbook rooms. I never tire of looking at dream rooms, although most of the stuff I see in them is out of my reach. I needs to get some shelves or cubes too. I would appreciate any ideas on those. Did I mention, I dont have a ton of money to spend and would really like to see some kind of work table at a decent price.
I will post a poll here on my blog of some of the color suggestions, if I get enough ideas, I will have you vote on a winner, and whomever suggests the color combination that wins on the poll will get a nice thank you gift from me. I will post the winner here.

Here is a picture of the view from my "little room"
