More Magnolia Stamps than you can shake a stick at

I just received two big boxes of Magnolia Rubber Stamps this week. I have about half of them listed in my store, and have not had time to play with any of them yet!!:(
I always get so excited when I get new stamps in... thinking I am going to keep some for myself. But time always gets the better of my good intentions. So if anyone would like to share your cards here that are made with some Magnolia stamps please email me with your picture at casdanben@aol.com and I will post them with proper credit. Here are a few peeks at the stamps I have in stock.

Alota Rubber Stamps

I am excited to say I received my first shipment of Alota Rubber Stamps, and their turn around time is fantastic. I haven't had time to get them all listed in the store yet, I hope to accomplish that tomorrow along with playing with a few of my new stamps. But here is a sneak peek of just a few. I might add I love the size of their larger stamps, so much more to color!

My Latest Card

Lately I have been visting a lot of new blogs, and the cards I see are just out of this world. It makes a girl like me, who has little time for fun, just want to say the heck with everything and sit down and color and cut. My friend Jan is putting out adorable cards left and right, and frankly I am a little jelous, they are gorgeous and she just used a cute little Magnolia stamp that I am waiting on. (the one with the puppy!) So I thought I better post a little something pretty, instead of just talking about all the stamps I want to buy! LOL! So anyway, here is a card I made with a cute little Sugar Nellie Stamp. I love those Sugar Nellie stamps but geesh, by time I pay for them and shipping overseas.... well I have to budget myself. I sure wish they would find a US distributor.

I am getting a itchy (Or it could be "b"itchy) waiting for my copics I fear. I have only six! So I am mixing copics and colored pencils right now. But I don't think this card came out half bad. I hope to get a little better with some practice and maybe start entering some challenges.

Blog Award... Thanks Jan...Passing it on

Jan from www.scrappyjandesigns.blogspot.com left me a suprise!!!! I have to pass this on and here are the rules..........
Pass on to eight blogs, who can then choose eight more and will need to include this cleverly written text with it....
These blogs are exceedingly charming, these are the kind of bloggers who aim to find and become friends. They are not interested in self-aggrandizement.Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propa- gated. Please give more attention to these writers.
Below are a chosen few that I would like to pass these awards on to. These are in just random order.

Sounds Easy.... Who knew!?

I am amazed to no end at all the new gadgets and goodies that are out there for scrapbookers and cardmakers. While adding sound to scrapbook pages is not a novelty, this new little money saving gadget is! Rather than buying one costly voice recorder, you can now purchase a system that you can reuse over and over for many projects. It comes with 30 memory cards that hold 30 seconds each. You can also purchase refills of 30 at a time, for a reasonable cost of 15.00. I can picture all kinds of uses for this. Imagine recording all the sounds from your day at the petting zoo, or farm to add to your layout, and what mother wouldn't adore a card with her child's beautiful voice wishing her Happy Mothers Day, and better yet, this voice recorder gift wrapped to go with it?
