The Pixie Cottage Challenge 11-The Color Green

The Pixie Cottage Challenge this week is the use of the color green in celebration of St. Patrick's Day, although the card does not have to have a St. Patty's theme. So I took the opportunity to use Eileen Gutierrez's new Birthday Boy stamp.  I colored him with Copics.  The balloons have some crystal effect on them. (Hard to see that in the picture)
The paper is from Basic Grey's Origins line. I used my Spellbinders die and a cuttlebug folder to embellish.
The edge punch is from the Martha Stewart line.
I have a little trouble with "boy" cards as I never know what to use as embellishments. (flowers are a staple of mine)
Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate it.

Love this boy card Michelle, I don't make many boy cards because all I have 4 granddaughters and my son is a MAN and doesn't like childish cards. But I love the different textures of this card.

Look at him! He is so cute. I just love that rainbow pin amidst the buttons, where did you find that!

This is one great card.

That's so fab!

Buttons work so well for boy cards instead of flowers :)
