Copic Storage... Here is how I store mine

We all know how everyone loves their Copic markers, so I thought I would have a post dedicated to my storage of Copics.  I am on my third storage idea, and I think this will be my last.

I originally started out with a Making Memories lazy susan, and although it suited the purpose of making the markers easy to access, it did not help me keep my color families separated.  I then bought a couple of clear acrylic containers from the container store. I realized early on this was nice for portability but I would need more than one container for each color family.

So when I finally saw an actual Copic Retail Display unit I was HOOKED.
This works out just perfectly!  I can store my colors by family, each little divided area holds 3-4 Copic Sketch or Ciao markers (I use both), so I can have the colors together that blend well, and just reach for all three or four at once.  Even better, it also holds the refills, thus taking care of both storage dilemmas.
I curently only have one, since that is all I need, and probably all I will need for a long time, as it holds plenty.  But once I get more refills I may have to invest in another.
There are 72 slots, each holding 3-4 markers or two refills.

As you can see you can also use the top for storage of other items, like ink, punches, etc.  And there is a slot that fits booklets, magazines, or maybe your color chart?  (Oh and if you are looking for the new Copic Swatch books let me know, I am placing an order this coming week.)

Are you interested in owning one of these displays or maybe two?

If you are check HERE, for a limited time use the coupon code DISPLAY
and receive 10 percent off your total order!

Let me know if you have any questions for suggestions.
Have a wonderful weekend.

A Little Challenge Among Friends

I recently had the company of my dear friend Jan (ScrappyJanDesigns), and while she was here I ask her to do up a card with this wonderful NEW stamp, Eerie Books by Sandra Hammer. Well, after she got home we got to talking, and I mentioned I actually had time to make a card with it too! (What a nice change to be able to sit down and play) I finally had a chance to try one of those stair step cards and just loved doing it. (If you would like a how-to on this let me know and I will post one)
So we have made this a friendly little challenge!! I cannot wait to see what Jan has come up with.  Also if you have time go back to her post with the M&Ms and make a guess on how many there are in the bottle!  And check out Jan's Wednesday post, another cute new Pixie Cottage stamp (Gone Fishin' by Di Carubia.

I am back!!!!!!! AND August Blog Candy

Well.... I'm back.......

I spent almost a week in Chicago at CHA with my Pixie Cottage stamps.
My friends Jan (to the left) and Anita (to the right) joined me, and thank goodness they did. Jan helped me tremendously by setting the table up and they both helped me during the show. Don't worry they had time for fun too, as evidenced by Anita's photo with her flamingo and Tim Holtz.
Let me tell you these gals were a bunch of laughs, and I want to thank them so much for joining me!

So on to the fun stuff for all of you. Here is AUGUST'S BLOG CANDY
Pick your poison!! The lucky winner will get to go to my store and pick any one 6x6 or 8x8 paper pad. They will also get to choose one punch of their liking, and a Pixie Cottage stamp. Best yet they will also get to choose 3 Copic markers.

What do you have to do to win? Just post the above photo on your blog with a link back to this posting, and leave me a comment. That is it, and I will choose a winner at the end of the month.

If you would be so kind to sign up to follow my newsletter and my blog I would be so happy!

Hope to be back soon!
