Great day at Target today. This is my second trip this week to take advantage of their 10.00 off 40.00 in pets coupon.

I also found two Glade sprays on clearance for 2.08 each, and used two 2.00 off 1 coupons on those.

Bought:

Target RedPerks!! NEW way to see is being rolled out!

Target is rolling out a new program to help you save money in addition to the many ways you can already save money by shopping Target.

 

RedPerks is being rolled out in the Raleigh Durham area of North Carolina. So if you live in that area I suggest you get signed up!

 This app is based on  earning points. You get 10 points for every dollar spent Target. Once you reach 5,000 points, you earn a digital coupon via the app for 5% off  – the coupon will be valid all day long. Target will also throw in a single-use coupon code redeemable at Target.com.

You must download the app to participate, since having a cashier scan a bar code on the app is what keeps track of your points. You also must have an iPhone or iPod Touch. You can download the app Download HERE 

REDperks also offers opportunities to earn bonus points. More to come at a later date.

Target Pet Deal starting 2/22

Rumor has it....(singing in my best Adele voice) Sunday (2/22/2015) Target will release another great pet coupon! $10.00 off $40.00.

 

There will be lots of great scenarios for using this coupon. Since I still have the BOGO Free dog chow coupons that will be the first deal I do. And boy it has the ability to work out really well.

 

Buy 8 Dog Chow bags 4.4 lbs @ 4.99=39.92

Buy one small can of cat(like Sheba.. use 10% cartwheel with Sheba) or dog food for approx. .50

Total 40.42

I had a 5.00 gift card from last time so I paid 6.98+tax.

Target's Coupon Policy

Coupons are a great way to save even more when shopping with us, and it's easy to use them at our stores. When accepting coupons, we follow the guidelines below.

Target stores coupon policy

Manufacturer and Target Coupons:

I made two trips to Target this week. I really wanted to get the dog food deal, however, when I went on Sunday they were completely out of the 4.4 pound bags of Dog Chow. I stopped back on Tuesday before I went in to work and they had restocked! So here is the deal.

I bought 6 Dog Chow, because I have several dogs, but you could do only four, I think that works out best since you can only use 4 Target coupons.

Target Shoe Clearance

Great shoe deals at Target!!

 

I stopped in Target on Friday on my way to work. I had a few coupon deals I wanted to get, but alas, they were out of stock.  However, I remember my Target Cartwheel had a one day 40% off all shoes, clearance and regular price. So I thought why not check them out.

There were a bunch of shoes on clearance.  Those prices were good enough, but add on the 40 off! WOW!

I paid 6.28 for these boots.

The total purchase for these boots, slippers and my daughters flats, 14.60 + tax.

I also got a pajama set on clearance for 5.98!! Cute 2 piece set too!

 

 I used my 15.00 in gift cards I earned using my shopkick app!

 

So my total out of pocket after my gift cards and 5% red card discount was only $6.31 plus tax! And those boots are pretty cute too! And I won't feel bad when I get them dirty.

Times Passes....interests change...

Time passes by so quickly, here it is ten months since I posted last.  I was sure I was changing the course of my blog to make its subject more than just scrapbooking and card making but alas, I have not stuck with it. Nor have I stuck with my diet. I have gained about 8 pounds back. My treadmill is broke! And it is freezing outside.

So you say, what can I possibly write about?  Well, one of my new interests is couponing. I used to see all those extreme couponing episode on TV when my daughter was enamored by them.  One day on Facebook I joined a couponing group and the rest is history.... 

Couponers are a sub-culture just like paper crafters are. There are so many groups and blogs you couldn't possibly keep up with them. There are good ones and bad ones, there are ethical and unethical couponers. A lot like the world of paper crafting I used to belong too. (Although that didn't save me a penny!)

Had I known the money I could save I would have started doing this years ago.
So I am thinking I should try to stop by and post some of my money saving deals here. Maybe some of my paper crafting friends would like to save some money?  It would give you more spending money for your crafts!
