I am hosting a Challenge!! In honor of OWH

Hello fellow crafters!!  I am excited to be hosting my first challenge here on this blog!!
Operation Write Home is celebrating their birthday this month.
If you are not familiar with Operation Write Home (OWH) let me tell you a little about them.

This wonderful organization was started by Sandy Allnock in 2007. They support our US armed forces by sending blank handmade greeting cards to write home on, as well as cards of gratitude to encourage them.
You can visit Sandy and her fellow OWH bloggers HERE

SO in honor of OWH we are hosting a challenge this week.  And giving you all the FREEDOM by picking what you do.  Yes, anything goes!

Theme:  Anything you like! It can be a card, scrapbook page, any papercraft!
IT can be any theme, any color!!

Time: Starts today Sept 20th and runs through 11:59 pm EST Sept 27th!!

The only freedom we are not allowing is backlinking. NO backlinking please, this must be a new project.

Otherwise you have all the freedom:

You can use any products.

You can combine with other challenges.

We take projects from all over the world for this challenge!

Post your challenge project on your blog and  direct link it to this post.

I have a card to show you!!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone!! Spring is finally here in NE Ohio! I am so happy. I just hope it does not snow again. I know I shoudn't even think it!
For those of you who sent Haeli a card, first of all, thank you.  Secondly, I wanted to keep you updated, my sister was stopping by to see her again today with a second bunch of cards.  She has received 55 cards and packages so far!  She asked her mom why would all these people who don't know her want to send her cards!?  So thank you for showing her that even people who don't know her do care!  (See the right top side bar if you haven't read my post about Haeli)
I have a new card to show you. Yes, finally!!  And I am pretty darn happy with this card.  I combined two stamps.  The first one is from The Pixie Cottage, entitled Pleasant Porch by ArTish. (I swear this card looks like my mother-in-law's porch.)  I also used one of my Magnolia Tilda Stamps.
I just love to make easel cards. I used the a punch around the page from Martha Stewart.  Here is a side view, I pop-dotted Tilda.
I would love to enter this card in a few challenges.

Craft our Days Away - For Mum or a Special Lady
Delicious Doodles - Dimensional Project
Papercutz Challenge - Anything Goes
Do You Stack Up - Add a Ribbon
Just Magnolia - Favorite color combos (I have many -- here is orange and green)

Thanks for stopping by,
Michelle

A late Christmas Card

Yes, I know I am way late for a Christmas card!  I had this card done for awhile, but with all the problems with my computer and camera at the end of the year I just never got time to post it. If you have been following my blog long you know I love to make stair step cards.  If you need directions on how to make one just email me. I hope to get the directions posted here soon. I used two Magnolia Tilda stamps here and a Pixie Cottage stamp that certainly fit the scene.  The Pixie Cottage has several new background/accessory stamps up for purchase now. You will find they go wonderfully with Magnolia Tilda stamps.

I would like to place this card in the following challenges.
Creative Card Crew-Colors of my Country (this is what it looks like outside right now here in Ohio)
All That Scraps is All about Snow
That is it for now.
